Welcome to the Granite Planet,
a nickname for the Canadian Province of Newfoundland. Newfoundland is a province in the country of Canada. It is the seventeenth largest island in the world. It lies off the east coast of Canada in the North Atlantic ocean. Although virtually unknown to most people of the world, Newfoundland is a fascinating place and holds a unique position in World history. It's a land of many firsts.
